ACCESS STATEMENT
Introduction
Polgover Farm is an absolutely stunning farmhouse dating back to the 16th century.
Lovingly and beautifully restored, the house contains a wealth of original period features including flagstone floors and offers a high standard accommodation.
The house is centrally heated throughout.
The house is set in beautiful gardens with views over the picturesque Cornish countryside.
Visitors will find the farmhouse set back from the main B3252 road, down it’s own private tarmac drive
Pre-Arrival
Enquiries / bookings can be made via email, telephone or letter, on receiving a booking & deposit all guest are provided written confirmation and directions.
Time of arrival is usually after 5pm but earlier arrival may be possible by arrangement.
The nearest main line train station is Liskeard, which is 4 miles.
Looe is 4 miles where there are shops, pubs and restaurants.
Arrival & Parking
Parking is on a level grass area just opposite the front garden gate where there is ample space for numerous cars, boats etc.
Assistance is given with your luggage if required.
On leaving the car and walking across our own tarmac drive you will enter the front garden through a wide gateway, walk along the path which is made of paving slabs to the porch, turn right down a 8 cm step turn left to the front door.
Please ring the doorbell to attract proprietor’s attention.
Main Entrance
There is a 16cm step up into the porch, turn right through the extra wide doorway into the wide hall, the floors are of Cornish flagstone.

Lounge/Diner
On the left hand side of the hallway there is large double doors into the lounge/dinner where breakfast is served at separate tables in the mornings, and you may sit and relax in the 3 piece suite in the evenings.
The floor has a fitted carpet.
Stairs, Landing and Bedrooms
At the end of the hallway is the fully carpeted staircase, which is 46cm wide.
There are 10 steps all 18cm high to the first landing.
Turn left and straight-ahead is the first bedroom (twin room). This room has a private bathroom, which is through an adjacent door and down 3 steps all 18cm high, there is a shower over the bath, mirror, shaver light and point over the washbasin, and the floor is carpeted.
For bedrooms 2 & 3, turn left and up a further 5 stairs all 18cm high, one pace and up a small step 8 cm high, room 2 is straight ahead and room 3 is on the right. Both of these rooms have double beds, and ensuite shower rooms with non-slip floorings. There is a mirror, shaver light and point over the washbasin and a step of 28 cm to enter the shower.
All 3 rooms are carpeted throughout, overhead lighting, tablelamps, clock radios, remote control T.V’s, hairdryers, hot water bottles and tea making facilities.
There are keys to lock the doors.
Outdoors
Guests are welcome to enjoy the garden where there are tables and chairs with a sun canopy.
Additional Information
The premise is strictly no smoking but guests are welcome to smoke outside.
